The Government of the Principality of Monaco (Directorate of International Cooperation) and its partner, the International Social Service – West Africa (SSI-AO), are today launching the second edition of the INISA – Initiatives-Sahel call for projects.
This innovative scheme aims to support projects with a strong local impact initiated by civil society organisations (CSOs) – medium-sized civil society associations in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal – whilst supporting and strengthening the winning local organisations.
Eligible Sahelian CSOs may therefore submit their project proposals across a wide range of areas: the empowerment of girls and women; local agriculture and livestock farming; education and vocational training; culture and sport; child protection; entrepreneurship and employability; the inclusion of vulnerable and/or marginalised groups; climate adaptation and environmental protection; peace, social cohesion and the prevention of violence.
Successful projects will receive a grant of up to €20,000 for a 12-month implementation period.
Applications for this call for projects are open from 6 July to 23 August 2026.
An information session for applicants will be held online on Thursday 23 July.
